Author's Guidelines
The Global Meta-Analysis Journal offers a modern, intuitive online submission and tracking system designed to simplify and speed up the publication process. Authors can conveniently upload their manuscripts through the Journal Management System (JMS). To help ensure rapid review and publication, authors are encouraged to prepare manuscripts in full accordance with the journal’s formatting and ethical standards before submission.
Important Notes for Authors
- Submit high-quality images only; avoid low-resolution or overly large files and refrain from using compression tools such as ZipIt or StuffIt.
- Oversized graphics may delay processing—convert images to high-resolution JPEG format when possible.
- Editorial screening is typically completed within 7 days, and peer review generally takes 2–3 weeks, enabling accepted papers to appear within 4–6 weeks of initial submission.
Acknowledgements
All claims, interpretations, and conclusions should be supported by appropriate citations. Any individual or organization contributing to the work should be formally acknowledged to prevent later disputes.
Short Communications
Concise research reports (about 1,500 words, including tables and figures) are welcomed. These should present complete, clearly written, and conclusive findings rather than preliminary data.
Special / Thematic Issues
Occasionally, the journal publishes special editions focused on emerging or high-interest topics. These may include invited papers, thematic collections, reviews, and short communications. Guest Editors are appointed by the journal, though proposals for special issues are also welcome.
Proofs
Final PDF proofs will be sent to the corresponding author (or first author, if none designated) before publication. Corrected proofs must be returned within 72 hours. Only minor typographical or layout corrections can be made at this stage.
Manuscript Preparation
- Acceptable formats: MS Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX.
- Clearly describe research methods, main findings, and their interpretation.
- All figures, tables, and references must be cited within the text and properly captioned.
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, fluent English. Authors whose first language is not English should seek professional language editing prior to submission.

Funding & Conflict of Interest
Disclose all sources of financial support, including grant numbers. If no external funding was received, state that the work was institutionally or personally supported. Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
Technical Guidelines
- Use SI units; include conversions for non-standard measures.
- Define all unusual symbols and abbreviations at first mention or list them separately.
- Place detailed supplementary methods in appendices where needed.
- Prefer endnotes over footnotes for improved readability.
References
Follow the Vancouver citation style:
- Number references in the order cited in the text.
- Use Index Medicus/MEDLINE abbreviations for journal titles.
- List all authors if three or fewer; if more, list the first three followed by et al.
Examples:
- Smith SD, Jones AD. Organ donation. N Engl J Med. 2001;657:230–5.
- Brown JG. Asphyxiation. Med J Aust. 2003;432:120–4.
Figures & Tables
- Figures: Number sequentially, include clear captions, and submit as separate TIFF/JPEG (≥300 dpi) or EPS (≥800 dpi) files.
- Tables: Number using Arabic numerals, include descriptive titles, visible borders, and ensure each table is cited in the text.
Article Processing Charges:
The Global Meta-Analysis Journal adopts an Open Access publishing approach, ensuring that all research articles are freely accessible to readers without delay. Although no submission fee is required, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 300 becomes payable after acceptance to help meet publication expenses. Authors may remit the fee through Debit/Credit Card or Bank Transfer (USD 330 with bank charges included).
